Providing a safe space to explore and live your authentic gender identity.

Many of my clients are people who identify as transgender or otherwise gender-diverse. I work from an affirming perspective, meaning that I believe each client is the true expert on their own gender. I work with clients to help them to identify and understand their gender identity, and to get the support they need to live authentically. I work with older children and adolescents, as well as individual adults. I provide consultations for families of children ages 3 and up. I enjoy supporting parents and caregivers in their process of understanding and affirming their gender-diverse children.

Some of my clients are not seeking therapy specifically related to their gender but simply want to talk with someone who understands their transgender history without pathologizing it.

I’ve received hundreds of hours of post-graduate supervision and training in the care of transgender people. I’m a member of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and practice under its standards of care.

In addition to psychotherapy, I also perform surgical readiness assessments and write letters of support for people pursuing gender-affirming medical care.
